The Master Training Yoga Teacher Training Program are in depth courses which have been designed in detail by a team of Indian Yoga Masters. These masters have dedicated their lives to the practice of Yoga, each with years of experience in teaching and instruction. Within these courses we seek to follow a model more in line with the Indian Yogic Culture which has been passed down to us throughout the Ages.
In this Yogic Tradition the great teachers have the focus - On Passing the Yogic Knowledge in its pureness and with utmost authenticity. In doing so, the teacher / student relationship takes on a more personal and long-term form. The teachers share their acquired methodology and practical knowledge in an effort to enlighten and encourage their students, and through their students to all who seek it.
It is in this tradition that we are able to spread and continue this ancient wisdom to not only our current generation, but to future generations as well.
The ancient teachings thus experience their intended exponential growth, allowing many people to be exposed to these invaluable tools of self-realization and awareness. A great teacher will always seek to illuminate this ancient path to pure consciousness for his fellow man. Our goal in this course is to inspire, educate, and create great practitioners who share this fundamental understanding.
In this course we will teach and discuss the “satya” (true) message of Yoga, and spread this science throughout the globe in a more traditional and responsible way. We believe the purity of these great teachings and methodology must remain intact in order to survive this quickly changing world.
With this in mind we have specifically designed this course with different levels for both Ashtanga and Hatha Practitioners. We will cultivate and develop this understanding and knowledge as our Gurus have done with us, to our students from all over the world...This is our mission.
before the course, we expect you to prepare yourself for this intensive experience. You will need to be actively working and studying in your self-practice, in Yoga theory and yogic lifestyle. For each course we will recommend specific reading material to cover in advance so that you may arrive focused on the topics covered in the course.
To ensure the course objectives are reached within the course duration, students must dedicate most of their free time to self-study and to review and exploration of daily topics. Allow your lessons to be the topic of discussion with other classmates while having your cup of chai. The course requires following Yogic discipline and lifestyle for the duration, as well as showing respect to the teacher, staff and classmates at all times.
We expect you to share the knowledge you acquire in this course with others in the manner in which it is given, as well as being an example of humility and honesty in all aspects of your life. You will be an ambassador of the Rishikul Foundation wherever you may be. The message you will share will represent not only yourself, but also the Rishikul Foundation and what we are seeking to do here.
The Intensive Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga Courses have been designed with three distinct, sequential levels. This not only allows for a continuous learning experience for our students, but also facilitates the long term teacher relationship with each of them regardless of where they are or where they go in the world.
By opening these courses to both foreign and Indian students, with varying backgrounds and learning styles, we create a multicultural learning and sharing atmosphere in the classes.
The program begins with the Primary Level Course. For application to the course, foreign students are required to be current practitioners and have completed a minimum of a 500 hour YTTC. Indian student applicants are required to possess a Diploma or Masters degree in Yoga, or three years of practice and experience doing Yoga; asana and Pranayama. This ensures adequate understanding of the practice of Yoga, the dedication it involves, and the students own level of introspection.

Yogic Diet is based on Cleansing and Healing Mechanism thus rejuvenating the budding Yogis. The diet provided by Rishikul Yogshala Rishikesh equips one physically in increasing the flexibility and stamina for the Intense Yogic Practices. The diet also nourishes the mind and emotions and brings in a state of Calmness and Tranquility.
An Ideal Accommodation is necessary to such an extent that it will get one to unwind after a lovely Yogic experience. Convenience is additionally an essential part of making the experience of Yoga seriously enriching and advantageous.
